Digi-Pack Final products

Inside poster
I used a count ruler tool to make the edges of this poster look
more sharpened. I used an auto-tone to enhance the
lighting and effects to so that Jakes facial expression stands out and
his smile is recognised by his fans. We have offered this as a
treat for audiences who purchase the digi-pack.
This is our front cover for our CD- I applied an inner shadow
and a bevel emboss onto my background layer. I found it difficult
cropping our main image of Jake but in the end after changing the
format of the photo I managed to import the image. The barcode
used was taken from google and had no copyright restrictions

This is our official Jake Black CD itself - I copied
a CD template from google then embedded my photo
and cropped the edges to fit the template this was
fairly simple.
This is the back cover for our CD-  I used a font named
'chalk duster' which appeals and to Jake Black's image
I used a blending tool to blur out the background to
reinforce connotations of isolation and sadness.
We have incorporated Jakes record labels and also his sponsors.

Digi-Pak Feedback

This was the feedback we received from the initial digi-pak which gave us the choice of two options of which digi-pak to choose for the final product.

Option 1:

Option 2:

After we carefully reviewed our audience feedback we decided to choose option 1.

Filming Day 4 - Re-filming.

Our first draft had a few blank spaces in which we needed more footage to film. We found old footage from our first few days of filming to cover this. However, after our audience feedback, we decided that we had to refilm a few parts for our music video. We wanted it to be near perfect so we took on board on what was said from our audience feedback session.

The vlog shows us re-filming the park scene. This was done because of the complaint that the sign could not be read at the end of the video, in which we decided it would be better if the character walks towards the sign to help clarify the ending; satisfying the audience.

Audience Feedback

Here are some of the feedback we received from the class and peers to help us improve our video for the final piece.
N2S: (Add print screen from facebook, BB, filming of class, film of individuals responses)

Feedback on Music Video - First Draft
postive:
* clear storyline
* connotations of death via the use of black and white and depressing.
* great synchronicity
* enigmatic - don't know who she is, makes you want to watch the whole video.
negative:
* one shot wasn't focused, unsteady camera
* "new girlfriend" - wasn't sure if she was a friend showing moral support or a new girlfriend
* unclear as to why the footage rewinded
*unclear sign reading

After our audience feedback, we realised that we needed to film again for one last time in order to fulfill their requirements.
