Lyrics

Whilst Jake is walking we are considering to have words appear on screen so that emotions are expressed clearly and the feeling of 'depression' is heightened. We believe this will engage the audience and keep their attention at all times rather than feeling bored and waiting for something else to happen or for the next scene to occur. This will allow us to keep the conventional slow edits whilst still keeping our audience entertained. This will be a fun challenge to do with our group thinking about which words should appear where. We have had a discussion and have considered these words that have been pulled out of the song lyrics to appear.
Note: Changes are likely to occur once editing beings.

'I'll act like I'm okay"
"Words i want to say"
(Another day goes by)
"And these words are gone"

"problems do not fade away"
"Its my choice"

"The anger built inside
I wish would turn into peace" (On its own, white/black background, black/white writing)

Here are a few music videos that share a similar idea.
(paramore picture)
(Good Life - T-pain ft Kanye West)
In this video, lyrics appear for very nearly every word. The font used changes every time for every word and adds a happy theme to the video as the song is about "the good life", which sends out the message they want. So for ours, if we stick to a simple, plain and bold font, it will help trigger and give off a sad, emotional, enigmatic effect which is exactly what we want to achieve.
(Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger)
